Terms without the fog.

Use KissPDF lawfully, keep backups, and remember that a free browser tool cannot promise perfect output for every PDF ever made.

1. Using the service

By using KissPDF, you agree to these terms. You must have the right to access and modify the documents you process and must not use the service for unlawful activity or infringement.

2. Local processing

PDF operations run inside your browser. You are responsible for your documents, passwords, download location, and device security.

3. Back up important files

Keep the original before compressing, converting, redacting, encrypting, or otherwise modifying an important document. Some unusual, corrupted, encrypted, or dynamic PDFs may not process correctly.

4. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness, availability, or error-free operation. Use it at your own risk.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, KissPDF and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

6. Open-source software

KissPDF includes open-source components governed by their respective licenses. The BentoPDF-derived foundation remains subject to the Apache License 2.0 included with the project.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
