1. Document processing
KissPDF uses browser-based JavaScript and WebAssembly libraries to read and modify files locally. The site does not send your PDF contents, filenames, or output files to an application server. Working data is held by the browser for the session and is cleared when the page is closed or refreshed.
2. Website requests
Like most hosted websites, the infrastructure serving KissPDF may receive standard technical request data such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp. These requests deliver the application itself; they do not include the documents opened inside the tools.
3. Third-party resources
The site currently requests font files from Google Fonts. Google may receive standard request information when those font files are loaded. The PDF-processing libraries are shipped with the application.
4. Cookies and accounts
KissPDF currently has no user accounts, advertising cookies, or document history. The deployed application does not include a behavioral analytics script.
5. Your choices
You can use a browser with tracking protection, block third-party fonts, or run the open-source application locally. Always keep a backup of an important original document before modifying it.
6. Changes
This policy may change as the product changes. The date at the top will be updated when that happens.
