Are my files uploaded?
No. The PDF tools operate locally in your browser. Your document contents and output files are not sent to KissPDF.
Is KissPDF free?
Yes. The tools in this release have no account, usage meter, added watermark, or payment step.
Are there file-size limits?
KissPDF does not impose an upload limit because there is no upload. Your practical limit is the memory and processing power available to the browser, so very large files work best on a desktop computer.
Why did a file fail?
The document may be corrupted, use an unsupported dynamic form, require a password, or be too large for available browser memory. Keep the original and try decrypting protected files first.
Does it work offline?
Once the page and its libraries are loaded, many core operations can continue without a connection. Reloading the site or loading language data for OCR may require network access.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Modern iOS and Android browsers are supported, though complex or large documents may process more reliably on a computer.
What happens after I download?
The finished file is saved by your browser. Closing or refreshing the tab clears the in-memory working session.
